Frequently asked questions about packages, storage and pricing

Where can I find the prices?

The current prices of all Nextcloud packages and options are listed at www.weboke.nl/nextcloud. You pay per quarter, per half year or per year. You'll see what an extra option costs in My WebOké before you confirm it (More storage or users, changing or cancelling your package).

Which package do I have?

Log in to My WebOké and go to My Products. You'll see your Nextcloud package there, with its name: Free, Personal, Family or Max. The differences are explained in Nextcloud Free, Personal, Family and Max: differences and switching.

Can I convert Nextcloud Free to a paid package?

No. Free is an account on our shared Nextcloud. A paid package is your own Nextcloud. So you order a new package and transfer your data. You can read how in From Nextcloud Free to a paid package, or from another Nextcloud provider.

How many users can I create?

Personal has 1 user, Family has 5 and Max has 10, expandable up to 100. With Family you can't add extra users; for more than 5 users, choose Max. See Creating, editing, disabling and deleting users.

My storage is full. What now?

Clear some space or expand it under Configurable options. You can read how in Storage full: making room or upgrading and More storage or users, changing or cancelling your package.

What counts towards my storage?

Your own files, and also what others upload to a folder you share with them. Deleted files and old versions don't count. See Viewing your storage: what counts and what doesn't and Anyone using shared files uses your storage.

Do I need Office?

Only if you want to edit Word, Excel or PowerPoint files in your browser, or if you want to use Talk, Forms or Collectives. You can store, share and synchronise files without Office. A licence is per user. See Assigning and ordering extra Office licences.

Where is my data stored?

On our own servers in Dutch data centres. We don't pass your data on to American tech companies. Read more about security and privacy in How does WebOké secure your Nextcloud? and Frequently asked questions about security and privacy.

Do you make backups?

You can read what we keep and what you can do yourself in Backups with WebOké: what we keep and what you can do yourself. A file you've deleted yourself can usually be restored yourself from Deleted files (Recovering a deleted file from Deleted files).

Can an extra app be added?

Our packages come with a fixed set of apps. If you're missing one, let us know via a ticket. See Permissions: who manages what in your Nextcloud?.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, with Family and Max, as an option. See Your Nextcloud on your own domain (cloud.yourcompany.com).

How do I cancel?

On the package page in My WebOké, with the Cancel product card. Download your data first. See More storage or users, changing or cancelling your package. You delete your Nextcloud Free account on the package page with the Delete my account from Nextcloud Free button. This deletes everything immediately, and there is no backup of it.
